I've never had a better experience purchasing men's clothes. Peter was the paragon of friendliness during my visit here. He was incredibly well dressed, too. The man has preserved the art of men's fashion in a way that I've never experienced anywhere else.

Context: I was visiting California for a work conference and wanted to get some fresh new duds to wear. I love thrift stores, but always have a hard time finding thrift stores that emphasize quality men's clothing.

Upon discovering Peter's store, I was excited to visit -- this is the only place I've ever found that focuses on high-quality thrifted men's dress clothes.

When I walked in the door, Peter was helping another customer, and they were having a fun and friendly conversation. But as soon as he realized I was there, he politely welcomed me into the store and asked me to wait a moment while he finished helping the other customer. I browsed around, completely amazed with the variety and depth of the selection available in his store.

Once he finished helping them, he walked over to me, asked me what I was interested in, and then asked me my size. I admitted I didn't know my sizes but I was looking for something to help me look semi-professional for a work conference.

It was at that moment where he guessed my sport coat size perfectly and brought me a coat that fit me like I was born to it. I have not been to many gentlemen's clothing stores, but I was incredibly impressed with his ability to fit me and find clothes in my style from his amazing selection.

He then spent the next hour or so taking me through the store, looking for clothes that fit my body and matched my style, helping me try clothes on, and providing unique insights into his experience with men's clothes. The whole time, we listened to big band jazz music and the entire store made me feel like I'd stepped out of time into some kind of mythical land of men's clothing perfection.

The only thing he didn't have were shoes for me, but I wear size 14 4E so that's expected.

My entire experience at Peter's was literally magical to me. I've never had such exceptional customer service when buying clothes, and the prices...I spent $160 and ended up with 3 incredibly high quality outfits that will last me for years to come.

This is the only place I will buy clothes when visiting Southern California. Not only did I have the best experience I've ever had buying clothes for myself, but Peter treated me like a friend. He was kind, friendly, honest, hardworking, and genuinely one of the coolest people I've met in a really long time.

If you're a man and you need help on some dress clothes, this is the place to go. Peter knows his stuff, treats customers like friends, and is willing to go the extra mile for you if you've had trouble getting your clothes to fit right.
